Description
Polly’s Dreamings are the ‘Bush Plum’ and ‘Awelye’ – body paint design. The Bush Plum is a stable food source gathered by Aboriginal women who perform ceremonies to celebrate the growth and spirit of the Bush Plum.
Polly’s paintings traditionally consist of incredibly fine, layered dot work. The subtle varying colours that Polly uses in dark and light hues creates a sense of depth, movement and an overlapping blend of colour across the canvas.
