Eileen is an Eastern Arrernte/ Anmatyerre woman born in 1956. She was born in the Busy Park region near Harts Range in the Northern Territory. She now lives with her husband in the Utopia region, approximately 300km North East of Alice Springs. Her husband, Paddy Bird is also an artist and is the eldest son of the well-known Ada Bird Petyarre (deceased). Ada Bird is the full sister to Gloria and Kathleen Petyarre.
