Marcia Reid Nangala is a Pintupi woman from Kintore, which is located to the west of Alice Springs.

Marcia’s mother is also an artist, Joylene Reid Napangardi. Her grandmother is famous and highly regarded Walangkura Napurrula. She is also related to the two Nakamarra sisters Katherine Marshall and Debra Young Nakamarra, which are her aunties.

Marcia’s works are primarily ‘Women’s Ceremony’ depictions of her country and the sacred women’s sites between the communities of Kintore and Kiwirkurra.
