Born in 1970, Rachael Nambula is an Anmatyerre artist from the Stirling Station Community of the Northern Territory. Stirling Station is part of the greater Utopia region, located approximately 300km north east of Alice Springs. 

Rachael’s mother, artist Evelyn Pultara, is a senior custodian of the Bush Yam, who taught Rachael to paint. Evelyn has passed down traditional and cultural knowledge of both Bush Yam and Country.

Rachael is a teacher’s assistant at the Neutral Junction Primary School in the Barrow Creek region, located north of Stirling Station.
