This story describes the journey of the Ancestral Snake Spirit, that traveled from the Mt Liebig area to Yimparlu and traveled onwards through various other territories. He eventually traveled up to the Top End of Australia.

The Ancestral Snake became very sad that his family left him behind at a place called Wirnparrku. Although he was quite elderly, he was determined to search them out and find them. The Ancestral Snake received help from the 'Kurdungurlu' (ceremonial police) of this Dreaming story. These people belonged to the Nangala and Nampijinpa women group, and the Jangala and Jampijinpa men group.

Where the Ancestral Snake's tail slumped and touched the ground, creeks were formed such as the Mijirlparnta, located West of Yuendumu. The tracks and pathways of the Ancestral Snake are often represented by arc shapes or curved lines depicted across the canvas.
