Sabrina paints Bush Onion and Bush Medicines Dreaming, Sabrina comes from the small community of Willowra, some 300 kilometres north-west of Alice Springs. Sabrina paints predominantly in a monochromatic palette and depicts the bush onion, an important source of food.

“The women walk around looking for tucker and when they find a good place they sit down and dig for tucker.”

Sabrina often incorporates aspects of gathering leaves from native plants to prepare medicine. This was the responsibility of the women, along with gathering the bush foods.
