Belinda represents the Bush Plum by heavily loading the paintbrush with paint, and thickly dotting the canvas. Through the mixture of colours she uses, the seasonal depiction and flowering of the Bush Plum is represented.

The Bush Plum Dreaming, is a totem Belinda inherited from her mother, grandmother, and paternal grand-aunt, Emily. The native plum is a staple bush food gathered by Aboriginal women. Traditionally, the bark of the bush plum was also used for the treatment of infections and wounds.

(S) This painting is currently stretched and hanging in the gallery.
