Cindy paints the Bush Plum Dreaming and this particular Dreaming was passed down to her from her mother to ensure the story’s preservation. The Bush Plum is a stable food source, rich in Vitamin C that is gathered by Aboriginal women. This fruit can be eaten raw or cooked. Ceremonies are also performed to celebrate the growth and importance of the Bush Plum as well as the regeneration to promote the continued life of the plant.
