Theresa painted her father’s country, which focuses on the area of Puntujalpa (also known as Jupiter Well). This is located further south of Balgo, near the community of Kiwirrkurra. This is a naturally occurring waterhole site near Kiwirrkurra and is an important water source for this community. This water source is found near an important rockhole site, called Tjurnu, which is a sacred ceremonial site that members of Theresa’s family travel to for ceremonial purposes.
