Patricia paints the stories called My Grandmother’s Country, which focuses on the locations of Tjukurla and Lupul. She represents these areas in a vibrant style consisting of bold linear designs, circles and fine dot work. Within the paintings Patricia uses traditional symbols in a contemporary way to represent the sacred sites of her Country. Like her grandmother Walangkura, Patricia depicts traditional designs, representing sacred women’s sites and women’s ceremonies.
