Tanya was taught Dreaming stories by both her grandparents and parents. She comes from a long line of artists and is becoming more and more recognised for her artworks.

The Conkleberry or Bush Plum, Anwekety (Bush Plum) comes from a tangly, spiny shrub that has white, star-shaped flowers. Conkerberries are only edible when fully ripe; they have a sweet flavour, but the milky sap of this plant and the unripe fruit is poisonous. They are a popular bush tucker food for Central Australian aboriginals. The fruit is known as anwekety in the local language. The conkleberry features on many works of Aboriginal art.
