Teresa paints the stories of ‘Minyma Malilu’. Malilu is a significant being of creation. Malilu was a crippled woman whose legs didn’t work properly this meant when she perfomed ceremonies she left a distinctive traces in the sand. When one of her daughter left to marry the wrong man, she followed her untill she found her and decided to dig a cave using her coolamon. Malilu created a complex cave system where she had tunnels to access food and water, as well as to watch over her daughter.
