This Yankirri Ngipiri Jukurrpa (emu egg Dreaming) is usually associated with the Rdukarri site, south-west of Yuendumu. Most of this important men's story is unable to be distributed publicly. Rdukarri is an important ceremonial site for the Jampijinpa/Jangala subsection, who are the 'kirda' (custodians) of the site and its associated Jukurrpa. Emus forage on a variety of native vegetation found near to Rdukarri, including the highly-valued 'yakajirri' (bush currant) and 'mukaki' (wild plum).
